The automatic invoice numbering should base on placeholders to match user's individual nomenclature. It could be like this: "XXX-2025" or "RE-80-XXXX", where the "X" are counted up automatically leaving all other numbers out. Currently SubTotal counts up complex invoice numbers wrongly.
It would also be a good idea to prevent the automatic numbering at all via a switch.
