Order number into e-invoice listing?

Hi,

How do I get an 'order number' or 'Bestellnummer' to stick in the e-invoice listing? I have tried both e.g. in the free text field for e.g. the custome, but SubTotal refuses to pick it up – although eMail and Umsatz.ID.Nr. both do then 'appear!?! Or should I be able to enter it directly into the e-invoice listing?
Where should 'Zahlungsbedingungen', 'Zahlungsinformation' etc. all appear on the invoice bzw. where do I add these details?

There is no dedicated field for "order number" in the normal invoice view, and there also is no universal format for an order number (like it is for an email or a VAT ID) so it's not possible to detect it in a free text field - so you'd manually have to enter it in the e-invoice dialog field.
There also is this feature request that deals with a similar issue and the problems with it.
I didn't understand the question. You can generate a PDF and see where the info is displayed. The data can be entered in the "My company" page (payment information) and in each invoice (payment terms)

That's just the problem, nothing 'sticks' in the e-invoice fields – I just entered a ref. number for a particular invoice, click on 'Show PDF' whilst still in the e-invoice view and the PDF does not show the number anywhere. If I close and then re-open the e-invoice window, the order number field is (again) empty.

What am I doing wrong?

All data you enter in the e-invoice dialog is used for the e-invoice XML, not for the PDF

You can change the name to something else if you aren't happy with the word. It's not used in PDF layout 1, but in invoice type 2 and 4

Ah, OK.
OK – dass man aber für jedes Rechnung-Layout ggfs. 3 Eingabenfenster bedienen muss bis alles passt, ist aber etwas umständlich.
Das war/ist klar, und auch nicht das Problem – ich hatte einfach die anderen Layouts noch nicht vor Augen und habe mich gewundert, wozu die Begriffe überhaupt da waren – jetzt kapiere ich das.
