Hi,
I use WorkingHours together with SubTotal to create monthly work reports/invoices for my employer.
My reports include all tasks (in my case, all work entries, both regular working hours and paid overtime, along with task descriptions), because I work remotely and want my employer to see what I worked on each day.
My regular work entries have a rate of €0 because they are already covered by my monthly salary. Overtime entries have an hourly rate and are the only entries that should be paid.
The invoice correctly calculates the total amount, but the new "Total Quantity" row sums the quantity of all tasks included in the invoice (in my case, both regular working hours and overtime).
For payroll purposes, it would be very useful to have the option to display either:
- Billable Quantity (the sum of quantities for invoice items with a rate or amount greater than zero; in my case, the sum of billable working hours), and/or
- Total Quantity filtered by task or tag.
This would allow users to include all work performed whilst also displaying the total payable hours (overtime in my case).
I believe this would be useful for anyone using WorkingHours and SubTotal for payroll reporting or timesheet-based invoicing.
Thank you for considering this feature request!
